Pitch15 unveils new UK professional women’s golf tournament as part of long-term investment in the women’s game

London - 26 January 2026: Pitch15 has announced the launch of the Pitch15 Open, a new professional women’s golf tournament set to debut in July 2026 aspart of the LET Access Series, the official development tour for the Ladies European Tour.
The tournament will be staged at Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club and will be one of only three new events added to the LET Access Series schedule for the2026 season, underlining the continued growth and professionalisation of the women’s game.
According to theEY-Parthenon UK Sports Engagement Index 2025, 88% of UK adults engaged with sport in the past year, with women’s formats continuing to drive some of thestrongest growth increasing the importance of well-structured domestic pathways for elite female athletes.
Developed by women’s sports investment platform Pitch15, the Pitch15 Open has been conceived as more than a single tournament. The event forms part of a wider, long-term commitment to building sustainable competitive pathways and commercial opportunities within women’s golf, supporting elite performance while helping to strengthen the sport’s future ecosystem.
The Pitch15 Open will welcome an international field of professional players competing for ranking points and progression towards the Ladies European Tour, with the UK event offering a valuable competitive platform for emerging talent seeking to advance at the highest level of the women’s game.

EY-Parthenon’s analysis also highlights golf’s success in converting new audiences into committed participants, with nearly four in ten participants having taken up the sport within the past two years — underlining the importance of competitive development opportunities such as the LET Access Series.
