Essex Cricket and Pitch15 Launch First-of-its-Kind Commercial Partnership to Accelerate the Future of Women’s and Girls’ Cricket

Essex County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a groundbreaking commercial partnership with Pitch15, a global platform dedicated to advancing women’s sport. Facilitated by sports and media advisory firm Pinto Capital, the collaboration represents one of the most innovative developments in UK women’s cricket.

 

United by a shared mission, the partnership establishes a new commercial model for the women's game, focused on long-term growth, visibility and sustainability. It aims to strengthen the foundations of women's and girls' cricket across Essex while demonstrating how women's teams can be supported through dedicated commercial expertise.

 

Building a StrongerFuture for Women’s Cricket in Essex

As one of the UK’s most dynamic and diverse regions, Essex offers a powerful platform for inspiring the next generation. The partnership will harness that community reach to expand access to cricket, elevate the women’s programme, and create new opportunities for girls from all backgrounds.

 

As the exclusive commercial partner, Pitch15 will contribute expertise across commercial strategy, digital storytelling, fan engagement and community activation.Working alongside Essex Cricket, the partnership will focus on:

·     Increasing visibility and profile of the women's team.

  • Expanding participation pathways for girls and     young women.
  • Enhancing matchday experience, content and     digital storytelling.
  • Attracting new commercial partners for the     women’s programme.
  • Inspiring more young people — especially girls     — to engage with cricket.
